This is a very reliable and well updated source for all things related to geekdom. No matter how small, I bet they will have a report. Good as a starting point in the collection of news, but I’ve found the articles a bit hard to read at times if not incredibly well informed! Summing up: good to start here. Younger audiences: keep in mind that out of all my sources, this has the most profanity. So user beware.
2. Den of Geek
This is my personal favorite site. While they don’t update quite as frequently as I’d like, they definitely have perhaps the funniest and thoroughly nerdily obscure references. Perhaps I’m biased, but the managers and writers of the site keep me informed on issues that I really like. So overall, while Ain’t It Cool might be a better source for all-over geekiness, nothing trumps this quirky website.
1. Whedonesque
Having established in our first post that Joss Whedon is essentially God, this website is the best source for obsessively updated snippets of everything that Whedon may ever have touched (even briefly). Updated round the clock internationally, if something happens in the Whedon world, you’ll find it here. This was a great source during the Avengers release, and continues to be my go-to source for all things Whedon. And if you can’t find something here the internet is a big place, my friend. I’m leaving the video game website/source list to my bro, so await his post eagerly!
